Once upon a time, there was a black lab named Pepper who dreamed of selling pizza in the hustling, bustling New York City and making a few dollars along the way. Pepper packed her bags and took the first train from Oklahoma where she lived to New York where she opened up her own pizzeria and got to work.

She picked up some tomatoes, garlic, onions, oregano, basil, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and of course pepper to make the tomato sauce. First batch, too much garlic! She made another test batch. Too bland! She ate it anyways, she was too hungry. Next batch, too much salt, pleh! Pepper spent hours experimenting with different toppings and sauces and eating everything she made before finally she found a recipe she knew would hit the spot.

She named her pizza "Pepper's Perfect Pie" and began to market it the likes of which no dog had ever seen before. She took out ads in local newspapers, handed out flyers, and even dropped pizzas out of an airplane with "Pepper's Perfect Pie" written on them in Pepperoni.

Business was slow, but gradually people began to take notice of Pepper's Perfect Pie, especially when it hit them like a pie to the face how good they really were. Her pizzeria became so popular the line would go all the way around the block!

But just as things were looking up, a gang of Bulldogs raided Pepper's store one night. They broke down the door and stormed in, growling and snarling. Pepper tried to stop them wielding a stick of pepperoni like a baseball bat, but they gobbled that right to pieces.

The Bulldogs made a beeline for the kitchen and began to devour all of Pepper's Perfect Pies. They ate every single slice, leaving nothing behind but a trail of crumbs and a few tomato sauce stains. I guess they were hungry.

Pepper was devastated. She put her soul into that pizzeria, and now all her hard work had been for nothing. But she didn't give up. She picked herself up, dusted off the breadcrumbs and got back to work. She was a hustler.

She knew that if she was going to succeed, she would have to work even harder, and that's exactly what she did. She turned her pizzas into artworks of anything you could imagine... pizzas that looked like dalmations, pizzas that looked like airplanes, pizzas that looked like the empire state building, pizzas that looked like elephants. She opened new stores, and expanded her business until it became a multi-million dollar enterprise.

When the Bulldogs came back, as they inevitably did, Pepper was ready for them. She hired a team of fierce Chihuahuas to guard her store, and they made sure that no one ever ate her pizza without paying again.

Pepper's pizza art became so popular that she started to expand her business to other parts of the city and across the country. She became a multi-millionaire pizza dealer and is now a co-host of Top Dog, a show where dogs compete to cook and eat the best food known to man or dog.

Pepper's success was even more impressive because she faced significant adversity as a black lab in a predominantly human-run industry. But with her determination, creativity, and passion for pizza, she overcame all obstacles and became a true pizza mogul.
